UC Davis Distinguished Engineering Alumni Medal Nomination Form

 

The UC Davis College of Engineering honors exceptional Aggie Engineer alumni with the Distinguished Engineering Alumni Medal. We are proud to celebrate the professional and personal achievements of our alumni and share their accomplishments with our Aggie Engineer community. Once you're an Aggie Engineer, you're always an Aggie Engineer!

Nominations for the 2025 Distinguished Engineering Alumni Medal are due by January 8, 2025.

Criteria

• 10 or more years since graduation from the college
• Record of outstanding achievement in academia, business or public service 
• Substantial contribution to the UC Davis community or engineering profession

 

Nomination Process

The following form requires you to submit:

• Nominator name and contact information
• Nominee name and details, including degree(s), graduation year(s), and other academic information
• Statements of support, including description and examples of:
  • Professional and technical achievements in academia, business and/or public service (2000 character limit)
  • Service to UC Davis, the College of Engineering and/or the engineering profession (2000 character limit)

Optional to include:

• Link to the nominee's LinkedIn or Google Scholar page
• Up to 2 additional letters of recommendation (limit 2 pages total)

 

Deadline: January 8, 2025.
